Youth Advocacy and Development Network partnered with Plan International, Uganda to implement a five year (2021-2025) SHE LEADS Project. She Leads is a program developed for the Power of Voices Strategic Partnerships with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. The program focuses on strengthening capacity of civil society organizations in the field of lobby and advocacy, with a specific focus on strengthening lobby capacity of young women and girls (GYW) and the civic space wherein they operate. . The number of targeted groups are; 28 girl –led groups, 35 CSOs. In total 3000 girls and young women to benefit. The districts to be covered are Kampala, Kamuli and Buyende.

Youth Advocacy and Development Network spearheaded the Formation and orientation of Girls and Young Women groups for joint learning and to have knowledge and resources to represent themselves in Buyende, Kamuli and Kampala.

Formed Girls and Young Women groups for joint learning in the districts of kamuli, Buyende and Kampala. And these were trained to be champions of change to promote and advocate for the rights of Girls and Young Women.
